Saturday October 18th a troop of girl scouts planted trees with the non-profit Stream-Links Education along Glade Creek…12 new Water Watchers! More vegetation along the creek helps keep sediments along the bank and not in the creek. Glade Creek flows in to the Monocacy River, an important source of public drinking water. The cleaner it is going in for treatment the less contaminated it will be at your tap.
